Enhancements Added to the Already Alluring Magic of Africa Holiday of a Lifetime
It is hard to further improve on what we deem to be our flagship Southern Africa vacation idea, but at Goway, we are constantly striving to come up with new and unique special inclusions to add on our Magic of Africa – Holidays of a Lifetime itinerary. For the next season’s departures of this 12-day exclusive, fully escorted small group tour, we have indeed managed to incorporate some more memorable features!
Due to the previous lunchtime venue on the Peninsula Tour in Cape Town no longer operating, we had to source another tantalizing and distinctive restaurant for our discerning clients. We are excited to include the Food Barn Restaurant in Noordhoek as our lunch stop on all future departures of the Magic of Africa. The food served is delicious and decadent – all in fine dining style while being served in a relaxed and characterful old barn. It is prepared under the watchful eye of chef, Franck Dangereux. Guests will enjoy a 4-course meal paired with superb South African wines.
During the 2-night stay at The Elephant Camp in Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, Goway clients on the Magic of Africa are already treated to a private tour of the falls, a lunch with a view at the Lookout Café, and sundowners at the Batoka Gorge. We have now also added, exclusively for our groups, a talk on David Livingstone’s travels in Africa, by well-known historian, Peter Jones, whilst sipping on sundowners. The setting could not be more perfect – drink in hand, standing where perhaps Livingstone himself once stood, marvelling at the view, and becoming immersed in the many tales of this great explorer.
Of course we have still maintained our regular features, which make this amazing trip our “promise of something special.” This includes deluxe accommodations throughout, small group size, most meals, all tips (except for tour director), excellent value, and limited exclusive departures. This Africa vacation truly is a Holiday of a Lifetime!
