Five New Non-Stop Flights to Asia We Love
While some of us love flying, one of the deterrents to Asian travel is the prospect of several long flights when travelling from North America. That’s why we’re excited to see some new non-stop routes introduced to India, Singapore and China this year – many using the comfortable Boeing Dreamliner 787. Due to the Dreamliner’s higher oxygen content, higher humidity, better air filtration and larger windows, you can offer these flights to your clients and keep a straight face when you claim that getting there is half the fun.
Here are our favourite five:
Vancouver-Delhi on Air Canada. Step on board AC044, fall asleep, and wake up in Delhi 14 hours and 10 minutes later. This Boeing 787 Dreamliner non-stop flight shaves four hours off the fastest connecting alternative (via Amsterdam).
Toronto-Mumbai on Air Canada. Flight AC046 non-stop on board the Boeing 787 Dreamliner takes 14 hours and 25 minutes, a savings of three hours compared with the fastest connecting option (via Munich).
San Francisco-Chengdu on United Airlines. Flight UA009 travels non-stop to Sichuan province on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, arriving Chengdu two hours and fifty minutes faster than the fastest connection via Beijing.
San Francisco-Singapore on United Airlines. Flight UA001 non-stop on board the 787 Dreamliner takes 17 hours and 10 minutes, saving two-and-a-half hours compared to direct or connecting options.
Las Vegas-Beijing on Hainan Airlines. Flight HU7970, operated on a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, departs Las Vegas at 2:10pm and arrives Beijing just 13 hours and 15 minutes later, saving one hour and forty minutes off the fastest connecting alternative (via Vancouver).
