What is your favourite country and do you have any selling tips for this destination?
There are so many fantastic countries in Asia, but China is one of my favorite countries. Not only is it my home country, but it also has many good places. China has a very long history and has many historical cities, such as Beijing, Xi’an, and Nanjing. On the other hand, China has many modern cities as well, such as Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Hong Kong. People are very friendly to all travelers and it is very safe to travel around this country. I promise you will have lots of fun. As we know The Great Wall, Forbidden City in Beijing, The Bund in Shanghai, and Terre Cotta Warrior in Xi’an are the most famous sites in China, but we need to keep in mind that there are lots of amazing natural and man-made sites well-known in China too. China is the third largest country in the world. It is not easy to visit all the highlights at once, therefore I would suggest you make a couple of trips or suggest that to your client. However, remember not to plan any trips during Chinese holidays, otherwise, you or your client will experience the most crowded lineups you’ve ever seen. Some mountain ranges of interest are the Avatar mountain in Zhangjiajie, the Huashan Mountain which is the steepest and most adventurous, and the Rainbow Mountains in Danxia Landform Geological Park to name a few.
AMBER CAMMISH
What’s your advice for someone thinking about an Africa safari?:
Head on a safari that isn’t just by 4×4. Travel along the vital rivers of Africa and experience various forms of safaris, from bush walks to canoe trips.
MICHELLE FURTADO
Why do you love working as a wholesale reservations agent?
I love the relationships that we develop with our travel agent community, and I love assisting them in creating that dream vacation for their clients.
Top tip – Learn to say a few words in the local language. In Fiji, “Bula” is a term used throughout the country. It has several meanings translating to ‘Welcome’ or ‘Hello’ and is the national greeting.
MICHELLE CULHAM
What’s your favorite island?
I absolutely love Fiji! You could come back here many times as there are so many islands to explore. Fiji has stunning sunsets, amazing snorkeling, and very friendly and welcoming people.
