Goway Opens Up the Diversity of South Africa
Goway’s 15-day South African Sampler tour is a fully-guided experience that takes in some of South Africa’s most spectacular scenery, with trips into neighboring Swaziland and Lesotho enhancing the journey. South Africa is a vast, beautiful land packed with diverse experiences.
Coupling carefully selected accommodations with fine local dining, this comfortable trip nonetheless offers Globetrotters the opportunity to explore Africa’s wilder side and see the Big Five – African elephants, Cape buffalo, leopards, lions, and elusive black rhinos. Africa is the only continent where big game still roam freely in such great numbers.
This trip also takes Globetrotters to Blyde River Canyon, one of the natural wonders of Africa, Kruger National Park, an internationally renowned game reserve of nearly 2 million hectares supporting Africa’s largest variety of wildlife species, and to a real Chief’s village, where they can experience just a taste of traditional Swazi culture. Other highlights include the magnificent Southern Drakensberg Mountains, the Tsitsikamma Forest, a visit to a well-known aloe factory in Albertinia, a guided tour of a working ostrich farm, the famous Cango Caves, and some time in cosmopolitan Cape Town, where the famous Table Mountain rises as one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature.
The South African Sampler gets top marks from Goway’s Globetrotters, including Themba Ndayi, who said “What I liked most is the contrasting experiences. Every day that you wake up is a different experience.”
