Jason Stratford

Born in Adelaide, Australia, Jason, like many Aussies, moved to Canada in 1996 on a working visa. After working at the amazing Banff Springs Hotel, he fell in love with Canada and officially immigrated in 1998.

By then, he was firmly bitten by the travel bug!

Jason has over 30 years of experience in the tourism industry working in various roles throughout his career, from Travel Agent to Sales and Marketing Manager, and Director of Sales.

For 9 years, he served as the Sales and Marketing Manager for North America at APT (Australia Pacific Touring), where he was responsible for driving revenue growth and managing the company’s sales and marketing strategies in the region.

Prior to his time at APT, Jason spent many years as the Director of Sales for Australia, New Zealand, and Iceland at The Travel Group in Vancouver.

Before joining The Travel Group, he worked as a Supervisor and Travel Consultant at ANZA Travel in Vancouver, and customer service at Travel Alberta in Edmonton Alberta.

Throughout Jason’s career, he has always strived for excellence and has a proven results-driven approach. When working with the Travel Advisor community he constantly combines his knowledge of the industry with a healthy sense of humor.
