WestJet Offering More Ways than Ever For Goway Clients to Go Globetrotting

One way that WestJet is innovating is through the introduction of the 787 Dreamliner. The Dreamliner is a state-of-the-art aircraft that streamlines the in-flight experience while expanding the creature comforts that make air travel so delightful. It has the largest window size of any commercial aircraft, plenty of new entertainment options, more humid cabin air to reduce throat and eye dryness, and mood lighting that approximates the Northern Lights. It ensures that no matter whether travellers are in Business, Premium, or Economy, they’ll enjoy a relaxed on-flight experience and arrive at their destination refreshed by the journey.
WestJet features the Dreamliner on several overseas air routes so far, including year-round flights from Toronto and Calgary to London Gatwick as well as seasonal offers from Calgary to Dublin, Calgary to Paris Charles De Gaulle, and Calgary to Kahului Airport in Hawaii. In May 2020, WestJet will also feature a non-stop 787 Dreamliner route from Calgary to Rome. Seasonal flights are currently once a week but will increase to three times a week in May 2020.*
WestJet is also looking to partner with Delta Air Lines on a joint venture, which will expand the transborder network for travellers in Canada and the U.S., improve airport connections, and provide expanded access for clients for both airlines with added benefits like reciprocal top-tier frequent flyer benefits, shared lounge access, and more.
WestJet also rewards frequent flyers with the WestJet Rewards program. Members enjoy the luxury of no blackout dates or the maximum amount that can be redeemed. WestJet Rewards members can also earn up to 8% back in WestJet dollars if agents add their WestJet Rewards ID to their booking. There are four tiers of WestJet Rewards to take advantage of Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Teal.
Platinum members enjoy the most perks: they earn 8% on WestJet flights, priority check-in and boarding, advance seat selection, unlimited lounge access, and high-priority access to complimentary upgrades to Premium with Econo and EconoFlex fares. Gold members enjoy a similarly wide range of benefits, including 5% on WestJet flights, priority check-in and boarding, unlimited lounge access, and complimentary upgrades to Premium with EconoFlex fares. Silver members earn 3% on WestJet dollars, get their first and second bags checked for free, priority check-in, airport lounge vouchers, and the chance to enjoy complimentary upgrades to Premium with EconoFlex, PremiumFlex, and Premium fares.^
